Set a recurring rule once and the system auto-generates invoices each period. Works for fixed monthly income (rent) and fixed monthly expenses (maintenance retainers, utility charges). Three timing options:
Arrears
Invoice generated for the previous month — sent after the period ends
Current Month
Invoice generated for the current month at the start of the period
Advance
Invoice generated for the next month — sent before the period begins

Every invoice is a permanent record. You can void invoices (removing them from calculations) or adjust amounts (via adjustment entries) — but nothing is ever destroyed. Your financial history is always complete.
