Our Story

How the software the industry was missing got built

A bedspace operator who couldn't find software that fit their business. A gap in the market no one had bothered to fill. A decision to build it properly.

Chapter 01

The problem was everywhere

Walk into any bedspace operation, any PG in India, any labour camp in the GCC — and you'd find the same scene. An operator managing dozens of beds across two or three properties, tracking rent in a notebook, sending invoices through WhatsApp messages with amounts typed out manually, and fighting with Excel formulas that break the moment a tenant moves in mid-month.

The operators weren't disorganized. They were running real businesses with real complexity. The tools just weren't there.

Chapter 02

We looked for software. Nothing fit.

Every property management tool we evaluated assumed you were renting a whole apartment to a single tenant. The billing model assumed one tenant, one unit, one invoice. The occupancy view assumed one lease per property.

None of them understood that a bedspace has four beds in one room. None could bill a tenant who moved in on the 17th at a prorated rate and then automatically at the 1st of every month after that. None could send a branded PDF invoice to a tenant's WhatsApp in the markets where WhatsApp is how business gets done.

Generic property management tools try to serve everyone and end up serving no one well.

Chapter 03

So we built our own

Bedspace Manager was designed from scratch around the reality of shared accommodation — not adapted from tools built for something else.

Bed-level inventory as a first-class concept. Calendar and custom billing cycles as the default, not a bolt-on. WhatsApp PDF invoices as the primary tenant communication channel. A mobile app that's full-featured — because operators run their business from their phones, not from a desktop.

Every feature was designed by asking: how does an operator actually run this today, and how can we make it faster, cleaner, and more reliable?

Chapter 04

Operators told us it worked

The first operators who used Bedspace Manager weren't tech enthusiasts. They were bedspace landlords in Dubai, PG owners in Bangalore, hostel wardens in Pakistan — people who had never used property management software before and who adopted it because it actually matched the way they worked.

That feedback loop shaped everything. Features were added or refined based on real operation needs, not based on what a general PMS feature checklist looked like.

Chapter 05

Today — and where we're going

Bedspace Manager now runs shared accommodation businesses across the GCC, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Any country Google Maps knows is a country we support — with local currency, time zone, and locale set automatically from the business's country selection.

Our focus hasn't shifted. We are, and will remain, a platform built exclusively for shared accommodation operators. Not a general PMS with a shared-living module. Not an enterprise platform with a lite plan for small operators. A single product, built well, for one specific type of business.
